چکیده مقاله:

Due to the importance effect of magnetic field on the history of long-term radial and circumfer-ential creep strain and radial displacement for a three-phase nano-composite exposed to an internal pressure and placed uniform temperature, the present article subject has been pro-posed. Three-phase nano-composite made of single-walled carbon nano tubes (SWCNTs)/ glass fiber (GF)/vinylester used to micromechanical models in order to calculate the mechanical and thermal properties. By assuming non-linear viscoelastic based on Schapery integral model and using classical laminate theory, Prandtl-Reuss relations and Mendelson’s approximation meth-od achieved results. Distribution of the radial creep strain, circumferential creep strain and radial displacement in two states including without and with magnetic field and three tempera-ture conditions for laminated lay-ups [0/45/0/45] described for 10 years. The results indicate that the magnetic field has reduced the radial and circumferential creep strain and radial dis-placement. Furthermore, the temperature increase in the magnetic field is less effective on the increased values of creep strain and radial displacement. Finally, It has been founded that mag-netic field would reduce the creep strain of all case studies.

Coupled Vibration of Partially Fluid-Filled Laminated Composite Cylindrical Shells

In this study, the free vibration of partially fluid-filled laminated composite circular cylindrical shell with arbitrary boundary conditions has been investigated by using Rayleigh-Ritz method. The analysis has been carried out with strain-displacement relations based on Love’s thin shell theory and the contained fluid is assumed irrotational, incompressible and inviscid. After determining the...

Time-Dependent Hygro-Thermal Creep Analysis of Pressurized FGM Rotating Thick Cylindrical Shells Subjected to Uniform Magnetic Field

Time-dependent creep analysis is presented for the calculation of stresses and displacements of axisymmetric thick-walled cylindrical pressure vessels made of functionally graded material (FGM). For the purpose of time-dependent stress analysis in an FGM pressure vessel, material creep behavior and the solutions of the stresses at a time equal to zero (i.e. the initial stress state) are needed....

Linear Static Behavior of Damaged Laminated Composite Plates and Shells

A mathematical scheme is proposed here to model a damaged mechanical configuration for laminated and sandwich structures. In particular, two kinds of functions defined in the reference domain of plates and shells are introduced to weaken their mechanical properties in terms of engineering constants: a two-dimensional Gaussian function and an ellipse shaped function. By varying the geometric par...

Local Behavior of Discretely Stiffened Composite Plates and Cylindrical Shells

The Layerwise Shell Theory is used to model discretely stiffened laminated composite plates and cylindrical shells for stress, vibration, pre-buckling and post-buckling analyses. The layerwise theory reduces a 3-D problem to a 2-D problem by expanding the 3-D displacement field as a function of a surface-wise 2-D displacement field and a 1-D interpolation polynomial through the shell thickness....

Vibration of laminated composite cylindrical shells with cutouts using higher order theory

Free vibration of laminated composite shells with cutouts are presented by a nine noded curved C0 finite element (FE) formulation developed by authors based on higher order shear deformation theory (HSDT) using Sander's approximations. The proposed model satisfies parabolic distribution of transverse shear strains through the shell thickness and zero transverse shear stress conditions at shell ...
